ABOUT ME
Sometimes life takes a turn... My turn came through a form of impatience.
With a background in the visual arts, my mind was spinning amidst too much noise and not enough exciting images. Impatience nudged me towards the world of modeling, where I could bring together colors, patterns, shapes and textures. Rather than thinking in terms of ‘Fashon’, my creations evoke a mood, expressing the simple pleasure of crafting and assembling the pieces. It all unfolds organically. I find myself enamored with an extraordinarily beautiful fabric or stumble upon an interesting piece in an unusual place - my ‘trouvailles’. I don’t aim to create an ubundance of clothes. Due to the limited quantity of fabric, I produce a tough limitid edition. Sometimes, only one dress can be crafted from a particular fabric.
The pieces I make are timeless, original, handmade and unique. In this way, my impatience is transformed into positive energy. life takes a turn...My turn was triggered from a form of impatience.

Born in Bruges, Belgium. Graduated with honours in Painting and sculpturing at the academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and Ghent from 1993 until 1997.Laureat Higher Institute For Fine Arts (HISK) Antwerp 2000. Worked as artist in Rome, Milano (IT) Duisburg and Berlin (G). The artwork was featered in SMAK (Museum of Contemporay Art Ghent) and at the renowed Art Festival 'Poezië Watou' (B), Wilhelm Lehmbruck Museum Duisburg and Künstlerhaus Bethanien Berlin (G). As well at galeries in Belgium and abroad.
